CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT

Check-in is after 2 pm and checkout is 12:00 noon. You are welcome to take advantage of our facilities if you arrive before check-in or if you will be departing the premises one or more hours after checkout.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

You need a valid passport or birth certificate to prove your citizenship and to obtain a visitor's pass. A passport is preferable since many money exchange places require one to change traveler's checks. Be sure to keep your visitor's pass since you will be asked to return it at the time of your departure. If you are traveling alone with children under age, you must have a notarized letter from the second parent allowing the child(ren) to leave the country.

MONEY

Money exchange is available at Tepic or Puerto Vallarta´s airport upon arrival. You might need cash for ground transportation to Majahua.
Check out the current exchange rate of dollars to pesos before you arrive so that you know what a reasonable rate of exchange is.
Traveler's checks can be cashed in Las Varas (20 minute drive from Majahua) at either the bank or the casa de cambio. You need a passport as a form of identification. There is also an ATM at the bank.

 

REFUND POLICY

Deposit: 50% of your total stay will be required for your reservation.

Early Cancellation: You will be entitled to a full refund less10% of the total cost, if you give us notice of your cancellation at least one month prior to your scheduled arrival date.

Late Cancellation: With notice of cancellation less than one month from your scheduled arrival date, there will be a cancellation penalty of 25% of the total stay. This amount can be applied toward another reservation within 12 months of the cancellation date.

Late Arrivals / Early departures: Sorry, no refunds or pro-rating for arriving later or leaving earlier than the reserved dates.

Interim Travel: Guests who choose to travel on overnight excursions away from MAJAHUA during their stay will not receive refunds for those nights.

Rate changes will not affect reservations that are held with a deposit.

Majahua is about an hour (100 kms) northwest of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco and two hours (75 kms) southwest of Tepic, Nayarit. It is located on Chacala Beach, municipality of Compostela, state of Nayarit on the Pacific coast of Mexico. The closest international airport is in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. Most major airlines from U.S. cities offer daily flights
